Connect Beds24 to your guest guide

Connect Beds24 to keep guest names and stay details current in your property guide.

Does GuestsBoard work with Beds24?

Hosts with Beds24 API V2 access can connect using a scoped invite code. GuestsBoard exchanges it for encrypted tokens, imports physical rental units and bookings, and configures booking notifications. This follows Beds24's guest-service connection method and does not imply marketplace partnership.

1. Create a scoped invite code

In Beds24, open Settings → Marketplace → API and generate an invite code. Include read:bookings, read:bookings-personal, read:accounts, read:properties, and write:properties. Property write access is needed to configure notifications. Financial access is not needed. Include linked properties only when you intend to import them. Follow Beds24's current guest-service instructions if your navigation differs.

The code expires and can be exchanged only once. Enter it only in the GuestsBoard dashboard, never in email or support chat.

2. Review units, callbacks, and subscription impact

All physical units accessible to the connection import automatically. Newly created GuestsBoard properties can increase subscription quantity and result in prorated charges. Review your accessible units and per-property pricing first.

This connection requires individual physical units and assigned, single-unit bookings. Per-guest inventory, virtual or dependent room types, unallocated bookings, and grouped bookings spanning multiple units stop the import with an error. GuestsBoard does not guess which display should show a guest's name.

GuestsBoard needs the property booking webhook configuration. Existing unrelated callback URLs or custom headers are preserved and reported as a conflict. Do not remove another integration's callback without checking how it is used.

3. Connect in GuestsBoard

Open Settings → Integrations → Beds24, enter the invite code, and select Connect Beds24. Tokens are stored encrypted and refreshed automatically. The connection shows Setting up until the first complete import succeeds.

4. Verify the personalized welcome

Compare a known booking's guest name, dates, check-in and checkout times, timezone, and physical unit with Beds24. Existing guestbook content stays intact. Check the actual display, then test a booking change and cancellation before relying on it for arrivals.

Do I need to register a webhook?

No. GuestsBoard configures its own authenticated property booking notifications automatically. Notifications queue a sync; a recovery import also runs every 15 minutes. Not every provider-side edit necessarily produces a notification. Internet access, account size, and provider delays affect when changes appear.

If setup or updates need attention

Review the error in Settings → Integrations. If an invite code was consumed without a usable response, generate a fresh code. For replacement access, use a code for the same account with all required scopes and access to every property whose callback GuestsBoard manages. Original verified credentials are retained until replacement access passes those checks.

Check unit assignments, account timezone, property check times, and callback conflicts. Imports have a 5,000-record limit per collection and a 90-second budget. Rate limits remain in effect when you press Retry. Contact support if your account exceeds these limits.

What happens when I disconnect?

Disconnect in GuestsBoard before revoking access. GuestsBoard restores the previous callback configuration only where its own configuration is unchanged, then deletes stored connection credentials. Keep access active until cleanup finishes. If another tool edited a configuration that still contains the GuestsBoard callback, cleanup pauses for attention instead of overwriting it.

Imported properties and reservations remain and stop syncing. Review retained bookings before the next arrival. Your house information, Wi-Fi details, and recommendations can still be maintained directly in GuestsBoard.
